If you however are finding your persistent dreams distressing, then some outside professional assistance might be a good call.
One thing to try and avoid meanwhile, is looking at your partner with waking-hour suspicious eyes if your night has been swamped with scenes of their apparent infidelity.
That can be really difficult depending on the severity of any trauma you’ve experienced which the dream has triggered, but remember, blaming an innocent partner for what they perhaps have really not done, will only start to erode an otherwise healthy relationship with a good person.
Hence the emphasis in this 4-part article series on self-ownership of actions.
The sooner you realize that these deeper entrenched behaviors do not describe who you really are and your actual worth, the sooner you can take responsibility actions that foster respect and deepen connections.
One of the best things you can do if you are in the throws of the blaming game trajectory is stop, step back, gather yourself and choose a good time for both you and your partner to talk openly.
